Week with Nonna"

It was crazy how fast 12 weeks went! But alas, my 12 weeks of time off from work are over. With just 7 weeks till the end of school, we are relying on our family and friends to help with Hayden until summer break. Week 1 = Mommom Celeste, or Nonna, as Logan calls her!

Thanks Nonna! Everyone had a fun and tasty (mmm. so much yummy food this week) week!

He cried a little going in... and a lot getting out

Logan had his first swim class tonight. The whole car ride over he sat in his seat saying, "pool, water, pool." Then, right as he was supposed to get into the water he grabbed on and started tearing up. Finally I got him to wade in the water a little, he started with his toes, then ankles, then knees, and he worked all the way up to his eyebrows!!! He loved it! And boy did he scream and cry... when he had to come out!

Happy Mother's Day!

I had a wonderful Mother's Day. We woke up planning to go Strawberry picking. We packed the van and headed to "the country". The first lesson we learned was that Sunday is not a good day to go Strawberry picking; everyone who goes Saturday takes all the Strawberries :) Since Strawberry picking didn't work out, we decided to do some sightseeing at some vineyards. A beautiful day outside, and many gorgeous pictures to remind of this lovely day.
We even passed through Paris... Virginia!
