2 week check up

Drum Roll please!
Moms mighty milk wins again.... Hayden is 8.8 lbs at his 2 week check up! That's wonderful! Well past his birth weight (which was 7.14). I am so proud of my little eater, but also of my mighty milk!!!

(7 lbs 14 oz at birth)
(7 lbs 3 oz Day 5)
(7 lbs 5 oz Day 7)

Now for length, on the hospital papers he was 21.5 at birth, but today he measured 21 only. Either he shrunk, or one of the measuring tools is off.

No matter, he is gaining weight and looks perfect! Way to go Hayden!

Happy 2 Weeks Hayden!!!

Hayden is 2 weeks old today! Even after 20 rapid months with Logan, I am still in awe with how fast time flies. 14 days already, really ?!?!?!

On another note, Logan made a poopy on the potty tonight. He was so excited that he called daddy from my cell phone while still on the potty to tell him "poopy potty". Several months ago Logan started using the potty from time to time. He stopped actually going a few weeks ago, but hopefully tonights "duty" will be the start of going again, and maybe the start of some official potty training. How awesome would it be to only have one in diapers :)

New goal: Logan out of diapers before Hayden's poop starts to smell

Zzzzzzz....

I have to brag a little. We climbed in bed for a last feeding at 11:00pm and Hayden slept till 4:00am!!! Then he slept again until 7:30am, then till 9:00am. I'm pretty impressed! BUT, why am I still SOOOOO tired today :/

Just the 3 of us!

Today was a holiday, so Logan stayed home instead of going to "school". It worked out great because we go to spend the day hanging out together, and with friends too. Not on purpose, but the boys ended up in matching outfits, and coincidentally, my shirt matched them. So you know what that means.... Mommy and Boys Photoshoot :)

Hayden Poops (yay - it's funny how obsessed you get about newborns pooping)
Back to changing table to change Hayden's poop - whoa! big poop
While cleaning big poop,.. Hayden pees on US (himself and me)
While walking upstairs to change his clothes, he pukes
While changing diaper, Logan "washes" his hair with dinner

Happy Birthday Hayden

My parents (Gma and Poppop) came down on Tuesday night, and my C-section was scheduled for Wednesday. So Wednesday AM we were up by 5:00am and at the hospital by 6:00am. The c-section was schedule for 7:30 and was started right on time.

Getting Start....

On June 19, 2009 we first met our first little Nichols, LOGAN JEFFREY! The past 19 months have been incredible. From infancy to talking and running with frequency, Logan has really grown up and become an exciting toddler!

Last week, on February 9, 2011, came our newest Nichols, HAYDEN VINCENT! The past 7 days have also been incredible. Our little family has grown and its so perfect!
