Our Special Harbor = Our "special pool" as Logan says = AWESOME

I've been waiting and waiting to finish school and for "Our Special Harbor" to open up! Today was the day we finally got to go check it out. Totally worth the wait! I ventured out with both the boys and met a few friends. Everyone had a great time including Hayden. I can't wait to go again next week, and any other time we can!

Well Hello Ocean City

First day home on my stay-cation and we woke up and decided to take a day trip (turned overnight) to the beach!
Logan loved the beach, the ocean, the boardwalk! He had a great time! and of course that means so did we! Even though it was short, it was a great trip. Fortunately, we'll be going back in a few weeks with the French group for another day trip. :)

We couldn't have picked a better day. When we pulled into OC we got to watch the Maryland FIREMEN parade. You can imagine how excited Logan was! Fire truck, after fire truck, after fire truck!

We walked the boardwalk taking in the sights, sounds and smells of the boardwalk. Then we set up camp and hung out on the beach. Logan and Daddy got to play in the water while Hayden and mommy stayed in the shade... after playing, as we walked away, Logan turned around and faced the sea and in his cute voice waved and said "Bye bye Ocean." I'm sure he can't wait to go back :)

It started to get later and we were all hungry. Plan was to get a quick dinner and head home, but we were having so much fun that we found a hotel room and decided to stay the night. Everyone got washed up (where I snuck a few pics of the boys cuddling after bath) and we went for dinner.......at.......

...... (what I like to call, "Hayden's Buffet") Hooters :)
The funny part about dinner is that Logan was so wiped out from a busy day that he LITERALLY ate his dinner with his eyes closed, sleeping. We tried to take his food away, but he wanted to eat AND sleep. Hayden also pasted out (that's what happens after eating at a buffet :) ).

The boys woke up just as we left. Even though it was getting late, we decided to break the rules and stay out LATE :) We walked the boardwalk and watched all the rides. Logan loves watching all the fast and crazy rides. (I'm not looking forward to when he wants to actually ride them). I definitely realized I'm getting older, because even just watching them made me sick. By 10:00, we were back in the room, in bed and all asleep.

This morning we got up early and had breakfast and swim before driving home.
What a fun, unexpected trip!

Schools Out for the Summer!

All done! Till August that is. The past three years I have worked at WWMS. Its been a good learning experience, but I've ready for a change and different sort of challenge. I am also ready to spend time with my children, so next year I am changing school from WWMS to H Secondary (High School),... PART TIME! My schedule is unknown at this point, but I will either be working till 10:30 everyday, or full day, every other day. No matter what, I will have some free time with Logan and Hayden and I can't wait!

To celebrate Logan's 2nd Birthday, we were joined by our friends at the Nationals Base Ball game! Everything was perfect, even the weather. We started with lunch (sandwiches and snacks for each kid), then cake (I made a baseball cake), then some crafts and games, and finally headed up to watch the game. Half way through the game, we "snuck" into the Stars and Stripes lounge and let the kids run around and enjoyed the AC and better food.
