Pre-Easter Fun

With Easter next week, and our Playgroup Easter Brunch tomorrow, we were pretty hippo-ity, hop-ty today.

Logan helped filling Easter eggs with chocolate Easter eggs for our Egg Hunt tomorrow.
Logan: "I want to eat chocolate"
Mom: "Ok, but first, let's finish with the eggs"
Logan: "ok mommy" (as he opens a chocolate egg), "mommy, i'm going to go pee-pee on the potty" and sneaks the chocolate in.
Mom: "Logan, it goes - potty first, then chocolate"
Logan: "No Mommy, i eat chocolate."

The best part of him eating the chocolate was that he'd be sneaky, unwrapping it, and then when he was ready, shove it in, and cover his mouth to be sure i couldn't take it away - sneaky kid :)

And I spent the rest of the night working on some stuff for our group Brunch and Egg Hunt.... can you say PINTEREST HAPPY!!!

CWP Super Stars: Teacher and Staff Appreciation Day

As you may know, this year as I sat at Orientation for Logan's preschool as they asked/begged for someone to Chair of the PAC (like the PTA)... of course, that means I "had" to do it :) I have loved being involved in Logan's school, meeting great people, and planning fun events.

This week, we hosted Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week. Under the direction of another Amazing Mom, we celebrated the teachers and the Super Stars they are!

So proud of the work of the other parents, just wanted to share some highlights.

Started the week with our Premier! Each room was decorated with Stars... and teachers met for  a Photo Op

This was super - all students/parents wrote notes to their teachers to save as  reminders from this year. 

The Oasis is the library, decorated for relaxation... and this year there was a masseuse.
Parents relieved the teachers during recess to give them 20 minutes of relaxation :)

Family Fun Friday

Last Thursday Steve and I had a busy day, and since I lost my free off day to busy, not fun stuff, I took off Friday and we had a Family Fun Friday!!!

We started the day at Logan's school for Field Day. Unfortunately, field day is not outside as i remember when i was in school. Fortunately, that did not matter! It was inside and AWESOME!

Then, we left school and loaded up the car for a family outing to Gravely Point to watch the planes. The boys had a terrific time, and i got some terrific pictures too!

And as if this wasn't enough for one day, Logan and I ended the day with a little date. We were Suposed to go see the play Annie. We did go, but as we say in silence Logan yelled out, "mommy, when are we going to see ANDY and my friends". Opps. Looks like he thought we were seeing ANDY not Annie.

So instead of interrupting the show, we left and watched the Varsity soccer game that he liked a whole lot more :)

It's amazing what a PERSON Logan is. He's so smart, he talks, he has opinions and ideas. How did he get so big... but tonight i want to share some pictures of how big Hayden is. At just over 1 year!!! Wow!

The craziest part of this St. Patty's Day is the Weather!!! We spent some time outside enjoying the SUN with my SONS!
