Happy Birthday to Me

Ok, well I did say this week was all about Hayden, but in order for Hayden to be born, first I had to be born... and that folks happened 30 years ago today!

Happy 30 to ME!

My morning started off with a delicious cake made of fruit, yum (aka edible arrangement). Unfortunately I had to work, but the it was nice to hear all the kids remember it was my birthday (of course I used my birthday date when teaching them the how to say the date, so the smart ones remembered :) ).

But the real fun didn't start until my friend Jessica came with her two boys and watched our two boys so we could for a night out. Steve planned a wonderful birthday surprise!
We went for an A-mazing dinner at Marcel's french restaurant, followed by an entertaining show, La Cage aux Folles at the Kennedy Center. A night on the town was just what i needed to ring in my 30's!

Thank you Steve for a wonderful birthday... now off to plan for Hayden's!
