Owen's due date was June 13th, but the eviction date was set for Friday, June 7th. This was a special date for me because Owen would be sharing a Birthday with my Poppop Vince. After 9+ months of "cooking", I was TOAST! A week and a half before the scheduled C-section, I visited my doctor with a list of 33 things that were making me miserable. She let me go on and on about my sciatic nerve pain, acid reflux, pelvic pressure, etc etc. As my rant slowed, she shook her head and denied my request for an earlier date. I sadly left the office and continued on a weekend of home improvements and loose ends. At my next appointment, Monday June 3, after completing an exam and doing a NST because baby wasn't moving lots (duh, no more room in there), she announced that BB3 (Baby Boy #3) would be coming a little early, "tomorrow, at noon!".
Despite my disappointment that BB3 wouldn't be sharing a June 7th birthday with Poppop VInce, I was really happy to meet him sooner (and have him OUT).
Family rolled in from PA, friends on alert, we took ourselves to the hospital on June 4 at 10am, and at 12:38, we met Owen Tyler!! The only thing sweeter than meeting Baby Owen, was watching Logan and Hayden (and everyone else) meet Baby Owen.
