Little 4th of July Firecrackers

This year we planned for a low-key 4th. We started the day with the Lorton Station Parade. The parade started at 11am, so we got to the parking lot around 10:40. Our boys are not much of "waiters" so we decided not to camp out early for great seats and instead sneak in last minute and risk what we could get but have boys that were excited and ready to watch! It worked great and we even scored front row seats at the end of the parade! WIN!

Good move on not going early. The boys did not want to sit for the entire parade so we did a little walk around and enjoyed the rest of the afternoon inside for an air-conditioned lunch. After lunch we a came home for some 4th of July Photos and Owen's 1 month pics too.

All the boys are napping (Steve included) and we'll finish our low-key 4th with dinner and neighborhood fireworks!
